Can you imagine what kind of workforce we would have if any or all of us were working as if it was worship? Just the mind-picture is enough to make any blue blooded entrepreneur sweaty with excitement.
Do you know that by the time we are done with work at the end of our short lives we will have spent a lot more time with our employers, employees and clients than we did with our families, significant others, or any other activity for that matter?
Doing a quick literature search it appears that work as our Creator intended it is a significant part of our calling, i.e. we were created to work.
It’s my experience that when someone finds a sense of belonging, the opportunity to be affirmed for their contribution, and meaning in that what they are doing has a positive purpose, work is not so much a job which supplies money to buy stuff as it is simply what they do and who they are.
