Experiential Learning

Experiential learning workshops happen in an environment where team interaction unlocks insight.

Introducing simple leadership gives participants an enlightening behavioral foundation on which will rest all of the concept and tools presented in subsequent workshops.

Know yourself/know others introduces the idea that we all have a unique set of characteristics that are the basis of our effectiveness as leaders. Leaders discover not only their unique contribution but also how to identify the same in others – two essential keys to effective leadership.

The rules of the game – business is a game, more intriguing and older than any other game on the planet. Leaders formulate critical organizational principles or “rules” for themselves and for the teams they lead.

Leadership is relationship – the more effective the relationship a leader has with those who follow, the more satisfying will be the team’s accomplishments. We explore the trust formula and acquire tools to build relationships that will be foundational to success.

enVision your future – leaders develop a clear and compelling image of what they want their organization to look like on its best day. This is their destination point – that place toward which they consistently focus precious and valuable resources.

Team Coaching – practice for effective implementation.

Between workshops in more intimate groups we construct a safe coaching environment in which new behaviors are discussed and practiced. It is in these “accountability” groups that new leadership behaviors are affirmed and become useable, practical tools.

Anyone can pick up a book and learn new ideas, but the value lies in implementation. Our team coaching is a proven model not for leadership theories but for leadership results.

Mentor Participation assures desired new behaviors and skills are not only implemented but also affirmed.

Every good student needs a mentor, someone who provides expertise in order to help those for whom they are responsible a mentor advances their careers, enhances their education, and helps build their networks. The emerging leaders’ mentors are often the most influential people in their development. Sharing with them the principles and behaviors that will be introduced in the workshops and practiced in coaching sessions and showing real examples of how they can participate is a critical help in assuring that desired behaviors are implemented and reinforced.Mentor Participation assures desired new behaviors and skills are not only implemented but also affirmed.

Participants name their mentor and we involve them in each and every experience, giving them workshop learning points and suggestions on how to initiate conversations and implement accountability.
